Energy recovered
In Vautubière, the Non-Hazardous Waste Disposal Site treats an average of 160,000 tons of waste per year: the waste of 400,000 people. Biogas production totals 2,600 m3/hour of which 2,000 are recovered to produce 2MW/hour of electricity: the average consumption level for 6,000 inhabitants.
